We are happy to welcome you to our 29 rooms, all equipped with: air conditioning, bathroom with shower/tub, hair dryer, refrigerator, cable TV, safe and Wi-fi.
With the exception of 3 economy singles, all of our rooms have a beautiful living balcony.

History

The hotel was built in 1965 by the Rondalli family and operated by them until 2024.
Before the hotel was built, there was the Rondalli family's brewery with its own store.
In the corridors of the hotel you can find photos and antiques collected over the years by the family that keep the Ticino tradition alive.
Since February 2024 Giovanna Orrù-Colangiulo together with her team has been managing the hotel keeping the style and respecting the tradition of the owner family.

Hotel Rondinella is strategically located just a two-minute walk from the Locarno SBB train station and the Vigezzina-Centovalli train station.

At the foot of the hotel is the “Debarcadero” bus stop, which will give you easy access to the entire region.

We are also opposite the port of Locarno from where you can leave by boat to discover all of Lake Maggiore to Stresa in Italy.

A 5-minute walk away you can find Locarno's famous Piazza Grande, which hosts the Locarno International Film Festival, Moon&stars concerts, Winterland in winter and many other events!
